Water Tanks
Water storage tanks are key elements for many projects, providing efficiency and sustainability in storing significant volumes. Manufactured on a modular basis, these water tanks can be adapted to the specific requirements of each project, allowing flexibility in installation and maintenance.
NPI’s modular metal tanks are made of high-quality corrugated steel, which provides high structural stability and tensile strength. These tanks are available in several varieties – from standard models with a minimum steel thickness of 0.8 mm to heavy-duty industrial models with a range of E. Special designs include short-panel tanks that optimize transportation costs, and tanks with coatings for better stability. For fish farms, specific tanks with adapted heights and coatings are available to meet the requirements of this type of storage.
Fabrication and Applications
The tanks are manufactured on a modular basis to meet the needs of each project.
Types of modular metal silos
- Standard tanks (minimum steel thickness 0.8 mm)
- Type A tanks (minimum steel thickness 1.0 mm)
- Short panel tanks (reduces transportation costs)
- Coated tanks (coating possible for each ring)
- Range E tanks (industrial tanks for heavy duty use)

Interior lining
To ensure that the tanks remain watertight, the metal walls are lined with a foil suitable for the application. To ensure the highest possible quality of the tank lining for each application, the most suitable foil is selected.
One of the most commonly used films is Enpex FPP. This durable film is available in several thicknesses and is extremely suitable for storing rainwater and recirculated water, and is also certified for drinking water. Enpex FPP film is very suitable for applications involving high temperatures, UV radiation, mechanical loads and where chemicals are added to the water.

Standard metal silos are available in a wide range of standard heights and diameters.

Water tank covers
Stretch covers
- made of 210-gram woven polypropylene with reinforced edge and stainless steel eyelets
- fastening on the outside of the tank with special hooks and nylon cord
Cross-coverings
- For tanks up to 9 meters
- For larger diameters, we recommend installing a reinforcing ring in the upper ring, combined with a central support system.
Floating coatings
- For tanks over 10 meters
- from woven polypropylene
- long pockets that hold lightweight PVC tubes for buoyancy
- allows rainwater to pass through.
Steel coatings
- For tanks up to 14.63 meters.
- Galvanized steel roof
- The ideal system for closing tanks for drinking water and other liquids that require protection from contamination and evaporation
- Protects against all weather conditions.
- Easy installation
- The roof is equipped with two hatches that allow access to the tank.
